ACMOBILITY has unveiled the country's fastest electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Makati, featuring 240-kilowatt (kW) SuperFast and 480-kW UltraFast chargers — capable of charging EVs in just 10 to 15 minutes.
Installed at the Corinthians Carpark in partnership with Macea and Ayala Land Inc., the site marks a major step in ACMobility's mission to build the Philippine EV spine — a nationwide fast-charging network.
"Makati has been one of the leading runners in the country when it comes to sustainability ... the perfect home for our fastest EV chargers yet," said Carla Buencamino, head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility.
The station includes nine DC (direct charging) fast-charging slots, supports large EVs, and is fully integrated with Evro, ACMobility's EV app for locating, initiating, and paying for charging. Sessions are priced at P35 per kWh, with up to 20 percent off for members.
Makati now leads the ACMobility network with 70 active charging points, expected to grow to 100 by end-2025. All power at Corinthians Carpark comes from 100-percent renewable energy via ACEN RES under the government's Green Energy Option Program.
ACMobility also deployed mobile fast-chargers in Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, with more cities to follow. As of May, the company operates over 90 charging locations, with 30 more set to open by June.
